Halls for Hire in Gloucester
Looking for a hall or community centre to hire in Gloucester? We deliver bouncy castles, soft play and party extras to venues all over the city, and the halls listed below are ones we know well. Each venue page shows the hall's facilities and the inflatables that fit inside, so you can choose a venue and an inflatable that work together.
Community Centres in Gloucester
On the south-west side of the city, Quedgeley Community Centre Q Club has two halls with 4-metre ceilings, tall enough for front slide castles, and Kingsway Community Centre offers several rooms to choose from. To the east, Abbeydale Community Centre has a large main hall with a sprung floor, and Hucclecote Community Centre is a popular choice for birthdays.
Closer to the centre, All Nations Community Centre, Longlevens Community Centre, Tuffley Community Centre and Elmscroft Community Centre are all well used for children's parties.
Clubs, Halls and Other Venues
Sports clubs often have large function rooms with a bar, which suits family parties. Saintbridge Rugby Club holds up to 200 guests, and Matson Rugby Club and the Gala Club in Longford are popular too. For smaller gatherings, Longford Village Hall and Hucclecote Methodist Church Hall are good value. Some venues, such as Gloucester Old Boys RFC, have lower ceilings, so soft play suits them best.
What to Check Before Booking a Hall
- Ceiling height: front slide and 3D castles need more headroom than standard castles, while soft play fits almost anywhere.
- Floor space: allow a little room around the inflatable for setting up and for children to get on and off.
- Power: each inflatable needs a nearby socket for its blower.
- Access: a wide door and step-free route make unloading much quicker.
- Hire times: book the hall from at least 30 minutes before your party so there's time to set up.
Each product page lists its size. If you're unsure, send us the hall's name or measurements and we'll confirm what fits before you book.
Indoor Parties All Year Round
From October to March we only hire indoors, so a hall is the way to go for a winter birthday. Halls also take the weather out of the equation in summer, and most have kitchens and toilets close by. Our party package deals pair a castle with soft play and extras for less than booking each one separately.
