Venue

The Village Hall provides a modern and welcoming public meeting place with a wide range of facilities for village activities, meetings, social groups and private parties. The design of the building combines traditional materials within a modern and sustainable concept, winning a design award from the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE). The grounds contain a children’s play park, multi-use games area and a range of fitness equipment alongside an attractive patio and lawn. Located near the centre of the village and close to the A417 but bordering on open countryside, the hall is also available for business use, having ideal facilities for both conferences and smaller meetings.

• A large (150 sq.m.) and airy main hall featuring a wooden “glulam” frame, opening out onto an attractive patio area.
• Capacity for up to 140 people indoors, dependent on type of event.
• A marked-out badminton court
• A well fitted kitchen with serving hatch, two cookers, fridge-freezer and commercial dishwasher

• A stage which can be extended further using up to 6 portable staging units.

• Two large store rooms and additional under-stage storage for use by regular hirers subject to availability and agreement.
