Before it became Cranham Village Hall, this building had already lived several lives. It began as a pottery, later became a Methodist chapel and, in 1972, was purchased by the people of Cranham for use by the village. Today, it's somewhere local families and organisations can hire for parties, dinners, performances, meetings and other occasions.

How you use Cranham Village Hall depends on what you're planning. The main hall can accommodate around 60 people for a formal dinner or approximately 100 for a concert-style event. Those figures also illustrate just how much the layout can change according to the occasion.
A children's party needs room for play. A family celebration might require tables as well as entertainment. A village event may need attractions that children can dip in and out of while other activities are taking place. It's worth deciding how much of the hall you want to devote to entertainment before choosing your equipment.
For the kids who won't be sitting at the tables

Food, quieter activities and the main entertainment don't necessarily have to compete for the same part of the building.
Think about the flow of your event too. Children can spend some time bouncing, stop for food, try another activity and return to playing later. Adding garden games or Didi Cars can give them alternatives rather than relying on one attraction for the entire booking.
A village hall that actually belongs to the village
Cranham Village Hall's history didn't stop when the community bought it in 1972. It continues to be managed locally by a committee of residents, maintaining the connection between the building and the village that uses it.

We'll bring the equipment to the venue, install it correctly and complete the appropriate checks before use.
