July flew by for the King of the Castles Gloucester team, and what a month it turned out to be. From school leavers' celebrations and community fun days to football events, birthday parties and family celebrations, our vans were travelling all over Gloucestershire delivering inflatable fun for customers of all ages.
As we head into August, we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the highlights from a fantastic month and say a huge thank you to everyone who chose us for their events.
School Leavers Finished the Year with a Bounce
The final weeks of the school term kept our team incredibly busy, with schools, PTAs and parents booking bouncy castles, bounce and slide combos, soft play and party equipment for end-of-year celebrations.
We supplied entertainment for school leavers' parties throughout Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester, Tetbury, Stonehouse and surrounding areas. It was a brilliant way for children to celebrate finishing another school year before the summer holidays began.
Judging by the smiles, laughter and queue of children waiting for "just one more go", we'd say the term ended on a high note... and several high bounces too.
Community Events Brought Everyone Together
One of our favourite moments during July came from supporting a local Family Fun Day as one of the main sponsors. We supplied the bouncy castle and our popular Didi Cars, helping keep children entertained throughout the event.
Seeing so many families enjoying themselves together is exactly why we love what we do. Community events are always special because they bring together people of every age, and it's fantastic to know our equipment played a small part in helping create such a successful day.
Whether it's a parish event, school fete, charity fundraiser or village celebration, we're always pleased to support communities throughout Gloucestershire whenever we can.
More Than Forty Inflatables Out in One Week
At one point during July we had more than 42 units out on hire in a single week, with deliveries taking place from early morning until evening across the county.
From back gardens in Cheltenham to village halls in Tewkesbury, parks in Gloucester and community venues around Stroud, our team spent the month delivering, setting up and collecting equipment while making sure every booking ran as smoothly as possible.
When the diary is that full, it's fair to say our vans do almost as much travelling as the children do bouncing.
Football Fever Joined the Party
July also brought plenty of football excitement, with many customers choosing football-themed inflatables and games while supporting England.
Alongside our football-themed castles, many events also included garden games, activity inflatables and family entertainment that kept guests busy long after the final whistle.
Sport and bouncy castles have something in common. They both seem to bring out everyone's competitive side, although thankfully our inflatables involve considerably fewer yellow cards.
Something for Every Type of Summer Event
Although children's birthday parties remain one of our most popular bookings, July showed just how varied our diary has become.
During the month we supplied equipment for:

- School leavers' celebrations
- Family fun days
- Community events
- Sports clubs
- Charity fundraisers
- Village celebrations
- Private garden parties
Many customers also chose our party packages, combining inflatables with soft play, Didi Cars, games and other entertainment to create complete party setups.
August Is Already Looking Busy
While July has now been packed away like the extension leads, August is already shaping up to be another busy month.
The school holidays continue to be one of the busiest periods of the year, with families making the most of the summer by organising garden parties, holiday clubs, family celebrations and local events throughout Gloucestershire.
If the sunshine continues, fantastic. If the British weather decides to do what British weather does best, we also supply many indoor venues across the county, so the fun doesn't have to stop just because the forecast changes.
