Venue
Eastington Community Centre is located in Owen Harris Memorial Ground (OHMG) and offers a range of facilities for the local community which can be hired at very affordable rates. OHMG is set in the Gloucestershire village of Eastington. Eastington is fortunate enough to have the use of a superb eight acre area of sports and playing fields. In 1989, The Owen Harris Site, was bequest to the people of Eastington by Mrs Shirley Harris, in memory of her husband and local farmer, Mr Owen Harris. The land was to be used 'for the benefit of the residents of Eastington, for social and recreational use.' Surrounded by stunning views, the grounds are available to everyone within the locality for social and community activities.
Facilities
Main Hall of the Community Centre. Can host a maximum capacity of 150 of people standing or 80, fully seated.
Seating is a combination of rectangular or round tables. Round tables are by prior agreement and for special occasions only (E.G. Weddings, due to their weight and size).
There are kitchen facilities, including kettle, hob, oven, fridge, hot water urn and basic kitchen utensils.
