Two Very Different Party Spaces at St Barnabas Church Halls
St Barnabas Church Halls on Stroud Road give event organisers a useful choice. Lambert Hall is a large function space with the height and floor area for substantial children's entertainment, while Martin Hall is a much smaller room suited to quieter activities, meetings and compact parties.
Located in Gloucester, close to the A38 and within straightforward reach of the M5, the halls can work well for families travelling from different parts of the city and neighbouring areas.
Lambert Hall: Go Bigger
At approximately 210m² with capacity for around 130 people, Lambert Hall gives you considerably more freedom than a typical community room. It has its own entrance, kitchen access and a stage with curtains and lighting, making it suitable for parties, performances and larger social functions.
One of its most useful features for our customers is the ceiling height of approximately 25ft. That opens up far more indoor inflatable possibilities than you would usually have in a smaller hall.
Depending on your layout and the dimensions of the chosen product, you could consider bouncy castles, disco domes or bounce and slide combo bouncy castles. For a larger children's event, party packages can help you combine several activities rather than relying on a single inflatable.
Use the Stage as Part of the Event
Lambert Hall's stage gives you another option when organising the room. It could be used for entertainment, presentations, announcements or performances while the main floor is kept clear for children and guests.
That can be particularly useful for school-style events, charity functions, family celebrations or parties where different activities are happening at different points during the booking.
Martin Hall: Better for Smaller Plans
Martin Hall takes a completely different approach. At approximately 51m² with room for around 35 people, it is more suited to smaller groups and activities that don't require a large open floor.
The wood flooring, ballet bars and carpeted dais make it useful for dance sessions, meetings and smaller functions. It can also serve as a separate room alongside a larger Lambert Hall booking.
For young children's parties, soft play can be a better fit than trying to squeeze in an oversized attraction. You could also add smaller themed touches such as candy cart and sweets, unicorn party ideas or superhero party ideas.
Theme the Party Around What They Actually Like
If the event is built around a particular character or interest, the inflatable can form part of that theme rather than sitting separately from everything else.
