A party doesn't have to happen in a single room. Elmore Village Hall has capacity for up to 120 people as well as two meeting rooms, giving you options for separating the noisy, active parts of an event from food, seating or quieter activities.
That flexibility can be useful for children's birthdays, family functions and community events. Instead of arranging everything around rows of tables, you can decide what each part of the venue is going to be used for before choosing your entertainment.
Where Are the Children Going to Play?
For a birthday party, the obvious starting point is the main activity. Our bouncy castles include different sizes and designs, while bounce and slide combos add a slide to the inflatable play area.
Indoor suitability depends on the particular inflatable and the usable dimensions of the room. Check both floor space and ceiling clearance, allowing for any lights, fittings, furniture and required safety space.
For a larger children's event, it may make sense to keep one part of the venue primarily for active play rather than trying to mix inflatables with dining tables and chairs.
Give the Smallest Guests Their Own Space
A six-year-old charging around a bouncy castle and a toddler exploring soft shapes have very different ideas about a good party.
If several age groups are attending, soft play and ball pools can provide a dedicated activity for younger children. One of Elmore Village Hall's additional rooms may also prove useful when planning separate activities, subject to the room dimensions and the venue's rules.

For family events, that can change the way you plan the whole booking. Grandparents don't necessarily need to sit beside an inflatable all afternoon, and children don't need to play between tables full of drinks and food.
Planning Something Bigger Than a Birthday Party?
A 120-person venue can also be considered for community functions, family celebrations and other organised events. If you have a mixed guest list, children's entertainment can form one part of the day rather than taking over the entire hall.

King of the Castles provides event equipment in and around Gloucester, with deliveries also available in Stroud, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and other parts of Gloucestershire.
We'll deliver the equipment, install it in the agreed position and carry out the relevant setup checks. When your hire finishes, we'll return for collection.
Our inflatables are cleaned between hires and tested in accordance with applicable PIPA requirements. Electrical equipment is PAT tested where required, and we hold £5 million public liability insurance.
