Sharks, fish, mermaids and colourful ocean scenes give Under the Sea Package its character. Rather than using two identical inflatables, this package brings together two different sides of an underwater party theme.
It's a useful pairing when one child loves mermaids while another is more interested in sea creatures, or when you simply want a broader theme that doesn't revolve around one character.
Two Sides of an Underwater Party
The first inflatable concentrates on the wider ocean theme, with colourful sea-life artwork creating the underwater setting. Children get a dedicated bouncing area surrounded by a design that works naturally with fish, sharks, shells and other ocean party decorations.
The Mermaid Bouncy Castle takes the theme in a different direction. Its mermaid styling complements the sea-life design without simply repeating it, giving the second inflatable its own identity.
Together, they create a more varied setup than hiring two copies of the same style of bouncy castles.
Easy Ideas for Building the Rest of the Theme
Because the main equipment establishes the underwater setting, the rest of the party can be kept fairly simple. Blue tableware, sea-creature decorations, shells, fish or mermaid-themed party bags can all fit around the inflatables.
You could concentrate heavily on mermaids, go for a general ocean theme or mix the two. That flexibility can be handy for joint birthdays where the children don't necessarily have exactly the same favourite characters.
Give Each Inflatable Its Own Space
Before booking, look at the usable dimensions of your venue rather than its advertised capacity alone. Two inflatables need suitable clearance for installation and operation, as well as enough room for people to move around them.
For hall bookings, ceiling height and access into the building also need checking. Tables, chairs, food and other party equipment will reduce the amount of floor space available once the room is set up.

Where Does Under the Sea Work Best?
Children's birthdays are an obvious fit, particularly for anyone already planning an ocean or mermaid theme. The package can also work at school events, community celebrations and larger family parties where two children's inflatables are appropriate.
For events involving toddlers, you might prefer to reserve part of an indoor venue for equipment from our Soft Play range. For a substantially larger event, Inflatable Slides and Assault Courses provide options that move away from conventional bouncing.
Indoor in Winter, Outdoors in the Right Conditions
A suitable hall can provide a reliable setting for an Under the Sea party at any time of year, provided there is sufficient floor space, ceiling clearance and permission to use inflatables.
Outdoor bookings are seasonal. We don't provide outdoor inflatable hires between October and March. During our outdoor season, the site must have suitable ground for anchoring and weather conditions must allow safe operation. Inflatables cannot operate at wind speeds or gusts of 24mph or above.

That could mean a local community hall for a winter birthday or a suitable outdoor space during the warmer part of the year. Venue dimensions and access should always be checked before confirming that the two inflatables will fit.
What Happens on the Day?
Our team delivers the equipment, installs the inflatables and carries out the appropriate setup checks. After the agreed hire period, we'll return to take everything down and collect it.
Equipment is cleaned between bookings. Inflatables are tested in accordance with applicable PIPA requirements, electrical equipment is PAT tested where required, and King of the Castles Gloucester carries £5 million public liability insurance. Children need appropriate adult supervision while the inflatables are being used.
